Local School Libraries Secure State Grant Funding

In conjunction with the Secretary of State’s Office, Rep. McLaughlin is proud to announce the 2025 Fiscal Year School Library grants in the 52nd District. The grants, awarded each spring, support school library services for Illinois students enrolled in kindergarten through 12th grade. Resources and services provided through the grant include library books, e-books, audiobooks, periodicals, multilingual materials, technology and programs.

“The education of our children and the resources available to support their learning are of paramount importance to parents, families, and our communities. As public stewards, we all share the responsibility of being effective and efficient with taxpayer dollars. This grant reflects that shared commitment and will help continue the vital services that these school districts provide to our students,” Rep. McLaughlin said.
