The final week of the spring legislative session kicked off today in the House. We have five scheduled session days left to pass a state budget and we have yet to see any kind of preview from the majority party. Earlier this month we found out Democrats were floating a new tax on services in Illinois which House Republicans vehemently oppose. We will continue to fight for Illinois families and stand against any tax hikes on our hardworking residents.
