Thank you to all the residents who participated in today’s Cuba Township Event. The Township distributed free compost provided by SWALCO, as well as mulch.
Barrington Countryside Fire Protection District and Barrington Fire Department were on hand, replenishing the Cuba Township Food Pantry.
Supervisor Chris Karam, Administrator “Ant” Simonian and I helped out with the compost, and Trustee Tiffany Andreae and her husband manned the food pantry.
Speaking of the compost pile, I just got back from Springfield so I’m very familiar with the aroma. But, at least this compost is making things grow in Illinois!
