Today is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. Multiple organizations came together in 2015 including C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors) to help establish an appropriate day to show our appreciation. We all need to remember that our law enforcement officers have chosen a difficult career path and need to be shown respect and recognition by the people who they protect and uphold the law for. Thank you to the wonderful men and women who serve our neighborhoods across Illinois.
