This week’s 52nd District Business Spotlight turns to Chi-Town Dogs, an Island Lake favorite for the past 11 years. Owners Jen & Chris Carlsen have donated thousands of hotdogs to various organizations in and outside of Island Lake, such as Boy Scouts, Seniors, Cub Scouts and Lions Club, as well as for many village sponsored events.

The restaurant serves original Chicago style Vienna Beef hotdogs, homemade Italian beef sandwiches, fresh cut fries, gyros, chicken wraps and more (including adult beverages).
Along with their great food and hospitality, Chi-Town Dogs has employed numerous residents, young and old.
