This week’s 52nd District Business Spotlight turns to Goebbert’s Farm, an iconic locale in South Barrington for the past 50 years.
Thousands flock to the Farm & Garden Center at 40 W. Higgins Road from April through October, purchasing flowers, trees and plants in the spring and summer; and produce, baked goods and other hand-selected specialities from the General Store throughout the summer. Perhaps you best know Goebbert’s for their annual Fall Festival (beginning this year on Saturday September 9) held under the watchful eyes of Happy Jack – the gigantic pumpkin perched upon their silo.
