Rep. McLaughlin Mobile SOS Event

background, no people

State Representative Martin McLaughlin (R-Barrington Hills) is pleased to host a mobile DMV at the Barrington Hills Village Hall: 112 Algonquin Road Barrington Hills, IL on Thursday, August 5, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

“As a result of long delays at the DMV the past year, I am hosting this convenient, easy, and local access to DMV service by appointment,” said Rep. McLaughlin.

Mobile Driver Services Facility services include: driver’s license renewal, state ID cards, corrected licenses, and vehicle renewal stickers. Due to enhanced security requirements, REAL ID compliant Driver’s Licenses will NOT be available at the mobile facility. In addition, vision tests are currently waived for everyone with the exception of seniors (75 +) who are required to take an annual road test. These road tests and vision tests must be completed at a Secretary of State Drivers Facility however, and not a mobile DMV.

Standard Secretary of State fees will be required. At this time the facility is unable to accept cash. Please bring a check, credit/debit card, or money order to pay for any services received. Further information regarding the services, fees and identification requirements may be found at the Secretary of State’s website at www.cyberdriveillinois.com

Given the limited timeframe, appointments are required through this link or by calling the district office at 224-634-8300.
